A YOUNG telemarketing company has been chosen to represent Milton Keynes in the regional part of a national competition.
Xen Consultants, of Canon Harnett Court, Warren Farm Office, was set up by director Michaela Graham.
Xen Consultants was one of three local firms to win an advertising and mentoring package with The Citizen in the Local Business Accelerators competition.
A national winner, to be announced later in the year, will see a firm receive mentoring support from Dragons Den star Deborah Meaden.
Michaela said: “The LBA is a great initiative for ambitious businesses like Xen because it is supporting our growth in both the short and longer term. It would be great to have the opportunity to be mentored by Deborah Meaden too!”
The eventual national winner will go on to receive a year’s mentoring from Deborah Meaden and an ad campaign devised by a top London agency.
The Citizen’s three local mentors are Dr Philip Smith, chairman of MK Business Leaders Partnership, Neil Fewtrell, regional business director at Barclays Business and Kim Hills-Spedding, author of The Really Practical Guide to Starting Up Your Own Business.
Xen Consultants Open Day Press Release
Local telemarketing company, Xen Consultants, celebrated their second office move to bigger premises in just 12 months with an Open Day on 27th January 2012.
Special guest on the day was Local Conservative MP, Mark Lancaster, who was interested to hear of the success of the company and meet Director, Michaela Graham, who was recently a regional winner of the Local Business Accelerators national competition.
The day was a true celebration of the success of Xen Consultants, and many of the guests were clients, suppliers and in fact local businesses themselves, wanting to express their congratulations.
